Looking around the website I found out that there are no commitments for getting a quote. You can use their website just for curiosity to see how much you can save, or just to see what other options there are for you in the market.
In order to get a quote for life insurance, which I thought was their main product; all I did was click on the banner to request quotes. I was taken to a form to enter the type of cover I need, the level of cover, and certain personal information such as birthdate, smoking status and contact information. As soon as I entered my details, a list of more than 10 policies came up onto the screen. I found it very helpful that the best deal was listed on the top. What’s more fascinating is that they were all policies offered by big names insurers.
Getting both funeral insurance and income protection insurance were done in a similar fashion.
When comparing health insurance, you are given the choice to choose between hospital or extras covers, or both in one plan. The following forms that I had to fill were divided over several pages and included things like personal information, my eligibility for standard health insurance rates, and my annual taxable income. What I really liked afterwards is that I was able to select options and additional benefits. Unlike traditional health insurers, the advantage of being able to select your own options is so that you will only pay for the things you need, instead being forced to buy everything that have been automatically included. Again, the list of policies was shown on the screen with the best valued plan displayed first.
At the time of writing this review, Choosi has just launched a new tool to compare pet insurance as well. I say this is a great choice for the company because more and more people are insuring their pets, and seeing that policies can be compared really light up my eyes. In order to get a quote, I had to select the number of pets I have and the state that I live in, followed by some details about my pets such as their names, whether they are cats or dogs, and their breed. Their birthdays were also a required field.
