Vero Insurance Review - Travel, Car, Home

Vero Insurance is unlike any other insurer. They have gathered their size and strength from over 180 years of experience to deliver great insurance policies to their customers. It is mentioned on their website that they are favoured by 35% of Australia’s top 500 companies, as well as several of the smaller firms in the country. Vero offers both business and personal insurance products.

With just a quick glance, the list of business insurance is something to smile about. Included are commercial motor insurance, construction and engineering insurance, corporate property and liability, marine insurance, workers compensation and many other insurance policies designed for small to medium businesses.

On the other hand, the list of personal insurance offered by Vero is also pretty complete. The one that caught my attention was their home insurance. The advantages of this plan is that it provides protection for both home and contents, and includes the coverage for damage/loss caused by fire, storm and riots. What’s interesting is that some of the uncommon things are even covered like escape liquid. Other benefits include new for old replacement, electrical burnout and more. If you are a landlord, there is also landlord insurance as well where you can claim up to $5,000 on furnishing, plus several other options.

For people that drive, there are two types of insurance. You can either get Motor Plus Insurance, which is basically a comprehensive cover for your car, or you can choose to get Recreational Vehicle Insurance to insure certain recreational vehicles such as caravans and trailers.

The one that got me really interested was their Motor Plus Insurance. You can be covered for up to $1,000 for keys, $20,000,000 in terms of liabilities caused by your vehicle damaging a third party and several more. After going through their additional benefits, one thing that looked really good is that if you have an accident that is more than 100km away from your home and your car can’t be driven, an extra $500 will go towards the night’s accommodation or to get you home.

The last insurance under personal insurance is Household Removals. This is actually a very unique type of protection as I have never seen of it before. Basically you will be able to get the peace of mind when you move houses by having your contents insured while they are in transit. The best thing is that it does not matter if you are relocating to another place in Australia or overseas.
